I thought becoming a teacher meant that I’d only have answers and leave the questions to others.
Until he came along.
Are you a neighbour? Why do you stop to play with the kids every day and wrinkle your nice clothes? What do you do for a living? Do you notice me watching you every day? Do you know you make all my days better? Who are you? Why are you standing outside my window shining as bright as the sun?
All the questions exploded in my mind beyond control. An infinite supply of them.
But then I noticed he was watching me back, with a knowing glint in his eyes that seemed to promise something. As if he saw me glowing, the same as I did him.
And when he finally came to me with a smile, I knew. I knew anything was possible. And with him everything simply fell into place.
